Hands that know where they are
Finger numbering, hand shape and posture, so you are not looking down at the keys after a few weeks.

Reading both staves
Treble and bass clef together. Reading, not memorising — so any new sheet is playable.

Two hands, one piece
The moment most self-taught players get stuck. We build it slowly and deliberately.

Chords and accompaniment
Play along with a singer, or accompany yourself. Classical technique, modern application.
Before your first lesson
What you need — and what you do not.
You do not need to spend a lot to start well. You do need the right few things. Message us before you buy anything and we will tell you honestly what is worth it.
A 61-key keyboard is enough to start; 88 weighted keys is the goal within a year.
A laptop or tablet with a camera, placed side-on so the instructor sees your hands.
A bench or chair at the right height — your instructor will check this in lesson one.
